OC Systems' Response Time Instrumentation (RTI) for
Internet Explorer Receives "Ready for IBM Tivoli Software" Validation
RTI measures actual end user response time at the browser;
Integrates with IBM Tivoli Composite Application Manager
Fairfax, VA (August 29, 2007) – OC Systems, Inc. announced that its response time measurement tool, Response Time Instrumentation (RTI) for Internet Explorer, has received the Ready for IBM Tivoli Software technical validation. This designation indicates that RTI meets or exceeds IBM's compatibility criteria for integration with IBM Tivoli Composite Application Manager (ITCAM).
For transactions that begin in Internet Explorer, IBM Tivoli users can now trace the transaction from the first click all the way through the back-end servers supporting the request. RTI delivers an exact measurement of the end-user experience, instead of an estimate that approximates the beginning of the transaction. IBM Tivoli users can use the resulting information to more effectively triage and resolve application performance problems.
"We are proud to receive the Ready for IBM Tivoli Software
technical validation from IBM, as it reflects the commitment we have made to
integrate our solutions with IBM's transaction monitoring software," said
Oliver Cole, president of OC Systems, Inc. "We are also pleased to be able
to offer IBM Tivoli users a way to more fully trace and deconstruct actual
end-user transactions."
Now that RTI for Internet Explorer has achieved the Ready
for IBM Tivoli Software validation, information about the software is now
available in the IBM Tivoli Open Process Automation Library (OPAL) online
catalog of downloadable integrated extensions for IBM service management
applications at
http://www.ibm.com/software/tivoli/opal.
